Bounty Chase

Bad Boys Bail Bonds is the most prominent bail bond franchise in California. The company was founded in 1998 and markets itself in a wide range of medium to support its continuously expanding business. After creating a TV show of their own, Bad Boys Bail Bonds wanted their own mobile game as well. "Bounty Chase" is a side-scrolling game featuring "bad boy" from the company as its main character. He has escaped the court and is being chased on the streets of Los Angelos, and he needs your help to flee the city.

Game design for Bounty Chase is by far the most time-consuming yet rewarding work I've ever done. I was responsible for the entire game's graphics from characters, items, game stages, user interface, to intro animations. Everything you see in the game was single-handedly drawn and designed by me. To recreate the streets and landmarks in L.A., I had to fly down to the city and take photos of each neighborhood appearing in the game.

There are two modes in the game. You can choose to be either the "bad boy" who tries to flee the city or be the "bounty hunter" who chases after him. There are unique items you can acquire to boost your performance, and there's multi-player option for you to play against your friends in different modes with online ranking showing off your scores.

The game was available for both iPad and iPhone, but unfortunately got taken down from App Store after a few years as the marketing team had decided to discontinue the campaign.

Below is a partial view of all the graphics assets I had prepared.
